I modify a 24 volt LED light intended mainly for off road 4x4 applications for cars or trucks as accessory lighting. If you have 12 volts or 24 volts from your battery bank and want to use it for interior lighting purposes, what do you buy? I've looked at literally 1000's of LED lights and I don't see much for this purpose except LED's that are powered by 110vac. If you're looking for high output low voltage LED with a wide spread beam pattern forget it. Of course you want something that will work good but at a reasonable price and a good output, say 2000 lumens at minimum. You tell me because I can;t find it. These 27watt lights are only $20 and they should be around 2000 lumens. But the beam is only 60 degrees for flood versions and 30 for spot. Without the lens, I think I can get something more like a 140 degree spread. We'll find out in the next video.
