I have reviewed a few unique iPhone cases before, but by far, this one is my favourite.

It comes in a simple package. There are 4 available colours. I have the black one with me here.

Nothing interesting about the unboxing experience. you remove the top plastic off and the case is revealed.

It looks bulky, so obviously, it is going to have a backup battery on it. It has vents for the speaker of the iPhone, a cut out for the camera. comfortable bumps for the volume and power buttons.
and a vent for the silent toggle switch. obvious stuff.
It has a lightning connector to slot the phone into, this is needed to transfer the charge from the case's battery to the phone's battery. The case has a 3500mAH battery in it. So cannot give your phone a full charge, but should be able to get you to about 80% or so.
It has a lightning port at the bottom. Most cases have micro USB connectors to charge them. This is cool because you not only charge the phone and the case using this port, but you can also use this for data sync. You will never have to remove the case once you put this on.
Now to the main feature of this case. Are you ready for this? Apart from all the features I have mentioned so far, the case also has an LED array on its back. A total of 300 white LED lights on a 12X15 matrix arrangement.
These lights illuminate to display your phones notifications. You can also program custom patterns and messages on it.
There are two buttons on the back, one is a battery level indicator and the other is to display the programed message on LEDs. Clicking this button a second time, shows the time.
The case connects to your phone using Bluetooth and you can customise it using the 'Show Love' app from the app store.
The app is the weak point for this product, I wish it was better.
From the app, you can choose what type of notifications need to be shown on the LED array and for how long. You can choose if you need the phone numbers or contact names to be displayed when you get a phone call. you can choose from one of the pre-set messages or program a message of 140 characters, that’s a long message.

there are also a bunch of animations and static graphics that you can choose from. You can also design your own graphics. This part of the app does not work great. I hope they send out an update soon. The pattern design interface starts glitching out once you have about 50 LEDs selected. It does not respond properly at times.

Apart from this, the case is awesome, I have been looking for something like this for a long time. It is very unique and blows a whiff of fresh air to the monotonous design of the iPhone 7 Plus. It makes is stand out.

The LED lights are bright and very power efficient.

I would prefer it if the text on the matrix scrolls a little faster, would be even better if you were able to customize the speed. But for now, it is readable, so useable.

When you receive a call, the name appears if you have the number saved in your contacts, else the phone number scrolls at the back.
Text and what’s app notifications alert you on who the message is from. I have seen news app and other app notifications as well.

I know its slightly on the bulky side, but I don’t mind it. It is totally worth it.

You will need a screen protector though, because the case does not bevel a little higher towards the sides. And trust me, with this case on, you will start getting the habit of lying your phone flat on its face more often.
